Rob Ferguson is Chief Markets Officer at CIBC Mellon.

Rob is responsible for CIBC Mellon’s capital markets functions, including global securities lending, collateral management and foreign exchange processing and settlement services. In addition to overseeing Canada’s largest securities lending program, he also works to connect clients with advanced markets solutions from BNY Mellon’s Markets Group and CIBC’s Capital Markets group, and in turn help them drive success amid today’s increasingly complex market environment.

Rob has more than 30 years of experience in markets and asset servicing. He joined CIBC Mellon at the company’s inception in 1996, and his prior roles include: Vice President, Global Securities Lending Product and Client Service; Co-head of Global Securities Lending; Head of Capital Markets, Senior Vice President, Capital Markets and Product Delivery; as well as Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, Business Development and Relationship Management.

Rob has a degree in economics from York University.
