CIBC Mellon Named Canadian Custodian of the Year in Custody Risk Global Awards 2016

TORONTO, Dec. 19, 2016 /CNW/ - CIBC Mellon has once again secured the title, "Custodian of the Year: Canada" in the Canada award category at Custody Risk Global Awards 2016 held on November 10, 2016 in London, UK.  Custody Risk's annual awards recognize outstanding achievers in the worlds of custody, fund administration and securities services.

Custody Risk's judging panel assessed Custodian of the Year nominees based on the strength of submissions, investment in staff, innovation, business performance, level of client support, business mandates earned, responses to new regulation, and technology development.  

CIBC Mellon's 50 per cent joint venture parent company, BNY Mellon, also earned a number of Custody Risk Global Awards for 2016, including global "Custodian of the Year" and "Most Innovative Project" as well as "Custodian of the Year: Germany" and "Custodian of the Year: United States."
