Shane Kuros is Chief Business Development Officer, CIBC Mellon. He has overall responsibility for all revenue generating activities in the Canadian marketplace, and is also a member of the company’s leadership team.

Mr. Kuros brings more than 30 years of sales, relationship management, marketing, and product development experience in financial services to CIBC Mellon. Most recently he held a variety of business development roles with the Bank of New York Mellon in New York. He also formerly served at CIBC Mellon as Head of Business Development as well as leading the company’s Global Financial Institutions team, responsible for servicing global banks, broker dealers, sovereign wealth funds and securities depositories. Under his leadership, CIBC Mellon established and grew an array of institutional mandates that remain with the company to this day.

His previous executive leadership roles span the asset servicing, payment processing, financial services and marketing segments. Mr. Kuros holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Manitoba.
