Tax Updates Effective January 2016


Canada’s Federal government and the following provinces/territories have announced tax changes for January 2016.


Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Yukon.


CIBC Mellon will implement these changes effective January 15, 2016; therefore you may notice a slight change to the net amount of your monthly pension payments after mid-January 2016.

Please note the 2015 tax slips will be mailed by mid-February.
