I am very excited to join CIBC Mellon!

Since I began my transition to the company, I have been consistently impressed with the great pride that CIBC Mellon’s people take in delivering on our core philosophies of client service excellence, strong corporate governance, fostering a positive and productive workplace, and giving back to the communities in which we live and work.

I have been equally impressed with the strong and long-lasting relationships that CIBC Mellon has developed with its clients and business partners.

I believe CIBC Mellon’s success is a testament to the dedication of our employees, to the strengths of our parent companies, BNY Mellon and CIBC, and to the open relationships that our company has developed with its clients.

I also believe that the superior reputation of CIBC Mellon in the marketplace is a direct result of the expert leadership that CIBC Mellon’s executive team brings to the table day in and day out.

As many of you are aware, Tom MacMillan has accepted the role as chair of CIBC Mellon’s board of directors.  I am pleased that Tom will continue to be very active within our company.

My primary goal is for us to be an even stronger company by building on the foundation that Tom and the employees of CIBC Mellon have established.

Whether it is continuing to leverage our parent companies to bring leading products to market, working with our clients to develop a tailored service approach or enhancing our processes and controls, I am committed to building on our areas of expertise so those who do business with us continue to receive the best that we can deliver.

These are exciting times for our clients, our partners and for CIBC Mellon.  I join the team with enthusiasm and much optimism about the future.
